View answerThe Department of Defence includes civil servants, military personnel and civilian employees and employs 9,799 staff. Of these, 19 individuals are in receipt of annual salaries in excess of €100,000 per annum; 4 Civil Servants, 1 Civilian Employee and 14 members of the Defence Forces.
